In April 2022, Jiangsu Aidea Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Aidea Pharma”) and the Chinese Association of STD and AIDS Prevention and Control jointly launched the "iStudy — HIV/AIDS Real-World Clinical Data Collection Project" for Ainuovirine (ANV) Tablets and its single-tablet regimen — Ainuomiti Tablets (collectively referred to as “ANV-based Regimen”). By the end of March 2024, more than 300 medical institutions across China have joined the "iStudy" program, with more than 10,000 people with HIV (PWH) involved, forming an evidence-based medical research chain of "real-world research, real-world data, real-world evidence, and real-world benefits".

Recently, 5 real-world studies from the "iStudy" program have been published in several international medical journals. These studies confirmed that the ANV-based Regimen is comparable to the current first-line Efavirenz-based regimen in China, with advantages in blood lipids, nervous system safety and other safety aspects, bringing real benefits to the majority of PWH. The "iStudy" program will continue these studies to explore the clinical evidence of ANV-based Regimen in other clinical aspects such as special populations and drug interactions, so as to improve the quality of life for more PWH.

1. Benefit in blood lipid metabolism for treatment-naïve PWH
